After two sold-out shows at Hull City Hall earlier this year, Tony Visconti & Woody Woodmansey’s Holy Holy will return to the venue in December with another performance of The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars.
Tickets for the highly-anticipated homecoming shows in March were snapped-up by concert goers from as far afield as Canada, Germany, London and Plymouth as well as people in East Yorkshire.
Now fans have another chance to see a live and complete rendition of the concept album that shaped and changed the face of music forever on Tuesday, December 5.
Arguably Hull’s most important musical export, The Spiders From Mars – Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder, and Woody Woodmansey – joined forces with icon David Bowie to become an unstoppable force on the music scene.
Together, they dragged the whole world through musical technicolour in a career that defined a generation and inspired countless others.
Holy Holy is the authentic sound of David Bowie’s early songs, starring Woody Woodmansey, legendary Spider from Mars and David Bowie’s drummer from 1970-1973 and Tony Visconti, Bowie’s long-time producer, friend and bass player on The Man Who Sold The World.
The all-star line-up of world class musicians will once again perform the live rendition of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars in its entirety following the two sold-out homecoming Hull dates earlier this year along with a host of other UK dates and 21 live shows across North America.
Tickets for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars at Hull City Hall on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, are from £30. They go on sale at 9 am on Friday, August 25.
