Orchestra of Samples at Fruit

Scottish fiddle player and winner of the BBC’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year Shona Mooney and Iranian percussionist Arian Sadr will be performing at Fruit this month.

Five years in the making, Addictive TV – the joint alias of audio/video remixes and electronic artists Graham Daniels and mash-up guru Mark Vidler (aka Go Home Productions), have won international acclaim for their latest project Orchestra of Samples.
They have filmed over 200 musicians around the globe, sampling and seamlessly splicing them together into a digital supergroup of international artists who never met but play together on-screen.
The night will bring a musical journey without borders and a stunning fusion of sound and vision with musicians playing all manner of instruments from Brazil to Kazakhstan, Egypt to Senegal, across Europe and even Bhutan in the Himalayas.
The event at Fruit starts at 7.30 pm Friday 5, May.
Tickets are £10 and available via Hullboxoffice or click this link
